Comments: I can see it now. Rudd goes back to RYR for 2 years and drives the 88 car into the chase and victory lane! RYR has not been the same since he left. When he drove the 28 the 88 ran much better than it currently does and the 88 won races using some of Ricky's set ups. This would be a win/win for Ricky and RYR!

Comments: I can't believe 'the ride' is ending...I have followed Ricky's career for 22 years - with great emotion I have watched him win, lose, come so close..., race ill, race hurt (who can forget the duck tape on his eyes in 1984)...I have watched in horror when he has crashed and flipped - holding my breath until I knew he was okay...I have driven my husband of 12 years crazy on race day by wearing my RR apparel through the years and waiting for an interview with 'my' driver - and when I had the pleasure of finally meeting Ricky at Bristol in 2004 it was my husband and son who got to hear every detail :) I have welcomed new fans on board, including my 13 year old nephew who picked Ricky to root for out of a field of 43 drivers in Charlotte this year (he now owns about 10 die cast #21 race cars)...Why?? For me it started with an interview I saw in 1983. I liked the attitude of the handsome young man on the screen - and with me being 19 yrs old at the time the handsome part didn't hurt ;) Then
