WHAT PUT YOU OUT? "I'm not really sure. Something happened in the motor. It went sour and locked up all the way and I'm not really sure what it was. It's a shame because the Motorcraft car was really doing good today. We were in the top 10 most of the afternoon and it looked like we might have had a top five there. All year long we haven't had any motor trouble, we've been having handling trouble. Fatback comes along and gets that straightened out and now we have a motor problem, so I don't know. It's just not meant to be I guess."
IS IT ANY MORAL VICTORY TO BE RUNNING BETTER? "Oh yeah. We've run like a dog most of the year and then we had a good top-10 or top-5 run, but we didn't get to finish it. We ran long enough to let people know we were there. The pit stops were great, so from that side of it things are coming together great. We just need to finish now."
