DO WE MAKE TOO MUCH OF TRACK POSITION HERE? "As long as you've got a decent starting position - top 10 or top 15 - it's not bad. Where you get in trouble is it used to be a lot worse when you didn't have that lucky dog award. If you get in the back of the pack and you've got a fast car, but you just had a poor qualifying effort, you get in the back and you get stuck there. You can't move past the cars that are holding you up and here comes the leader. It used to be a real big deal and it still is a big deal to have track position. You don't have to work nearly as hard when you've got track position."
